Truck Drivers & Tilt Tray Operators
Duties will involve the towing and recovery of customer and RACQ member vehicles from the roadside with safe delivery to a preferred repairer or home address. Ideally you will be enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team to get the job done. The position has a 24/7 rotating roster. You will be required to work shifts, on-call, nights, weekends and public holidays. There may also be additional hours if needed. We pay an above award rate.
To be considered for these roles you must:
- Live within 10 kms of our depot
- Have an MR Truck Licence – as a minimum
- Experience preferred
- Have Basic computer skills and ability to complete online training
- Have Good communication and customer service skills
- Follow Safe work practices 100% of the time
Mechanics
Your duties will include servicing, repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles. You will work in family owned and operated team environment. There is opportunity to become cross trained and pick up additional work as an RACQ patrolman. We offer an above award rate of pay.
To be considered for these role you will have the following:
• Full Automotive Mechanic Qualifications
• Experience on a wide range of vehicles
• Ability to diagnose promptly and most importantly accurately
• Full Australian Drivers Licence
• Strong communication and time management skills
• A sense of commitment & reliability
RACQ Patrol Officers (Rockhampton & Yeppoon)
Your duties involve providing exceptional customer service and assistance to RACQ members. With a commitment to safety and expertise and ensure that RACQ members are never left stranded on the roadside.
Your character and abilities:
- Follow Safe work practices 100% of the time
- Trade Qualified Mechanic or Auto Electrician / Related Qualifications
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- MR Licence (would be a bonus)
- Customer Service Experience
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete online training
- Ability to Diagnose Problems Quickly
- Enthusiastic
- Reliable
- Team focused
- Organised and able to work autonomously
- Can work a rotating roster over a 7 day work week
